About Me

I found a love for writing software when I was in my senior year of high school. My interest in the ocean and fluid dynamics drove me to pursue Mechananical Engineering, where I was able to leverage my love for writing code. Since then, I've never stopped writing or building -- except for a few vacations :)

I met a crazy dude who'd been writing code for 30 years and we became friends. He taught me everything he knew while we wrote SecondBrain together.

We talked about algorithms and implemented some of them, I helped through all of this, and built on top of his knowledge. I wrote SO much code, and participated in such an awesome process.

Then we started the company, and I got into front-end and biz dev mode...eventually getting ourselves into TechStars.

That's where things ended. The team broke up by the end of the accelerator. You only get to hear more over a drink.

Mechanical Engineer

Intergraph

QA and Engineering Support for Professional Engineers in their use of CAESAR II - the world's leading pipe stress analysis software.

Read through the codebase in my freetime (Fortran, VB, C, mostly), wrote some interesting MathCAD scripts to do QA.

Intern

Hydrocomp

Wrote some code (VB) and performed QA for the world's leading propeller and boat performance and prediction software. Also provided research assitance for expert witness testimony.

Intern

Posillico

Various roles supporting project managers and project engineers over 4 seperate internships.

Wrote some really cool excel macros.

Referee

Various Soccer Organizations

Refereed premier and club games from U8 through U40. Oversaw youth referee development.

Learned a lot about controlling a game and parental anger.
